Pictures....

Our Home on the 4th of July!
Our Family on the 4th of July! Our Blessings from the Lord!
Steven squinting from the sun!

Carson being his adorable self!

Peyton wondering why Mommy is always behind a camera!
This is the Rob & Cyndi...Larry and I's dearest friends!!! Words cannot describe how much we love this family. Our children are the same ages, Cyndi delivered my babies, she and I work together every other weekend, we go to church together, and Rob and Larry are HUGE Michigan fans!!! Cyndi and I are more than friends....we are sisters! (Thankfully, her mom and 3 sisters feel the same about me AND my mom and 3 sisters love her dearly! I wish you could meet this amazing family!

This is Edwin and Melissa and they are also such great friends. We have know them for over 10 years and have been friends since day one! Again, our children are very close in age so we have alot in comman! THE only thing "wrong" with this family is...Edwin is a Florida Sate fan! Here is a picture of some of the kids eating on the 4th of July! They picked the shade!

Jason and Amy Lane
This picture needs a little explaining....Larry had just arrived home from work and Peyton headed for the front door...in his diaper and Michigan hat. I opened the door for Peyton to dart out to meet Daddy! Here he is "telling" Daddy some big story! He is so cute!
I hope you enjoy catching a glimpse into our lives via pictures!

I so LOVED seeing all your pictures! What a beautiful family (should I say handsome?) and you, oh, my word, you look like you are still 20 years old! The years have been good to you!!!

Sounds like you have had a very full couple of weeks. So sorry about your sick family...nothing like sickness to cause you to appreciate health!

Take care of yourself!
Blessings!

Marty! So enjoyed the pics. Your house looks so purty. :) Did you ever get your desired hard-wood floors? I agree with Julie, you look fantabulous. Although I know that can only happen through much hard work and deprivation! Remember when I used to eat all the Mr. Cookie Faces and Pizza and Pepsi I wanted??? I can't do that anymore. Life's not fair. (boo hoo).

ANYWHOOOOO: all that to say I admire your discipline. But then, you always were that way! :)

Your house is so beautiful. Really looks like classic Americana. And the family in front of the house isn't too shabby either=) Seriously I have been thinking what adorable towheads your boys are every time I visit your blog, you guys have some good genes.

Hey did you become a nurse? You referred to working at the hospital in one of your blogs and doing weekend shifts so I was thinking you may be a nurse now?

Thanks everyone for the sweet comments on the pics!

Julie, I thought is was still 20! Ha! Not....All I have to do is try to remember something I did yesterday and I suddenly remember that I've forgoten!

Tara, ohhhh to have a Mr. Cookie Face at 10pm at night!!! Never did like the Pepsi thing...only Dr. Pepper! I've traded to Diet Dr. Pepper which I LOVE...not so sweet!

Aunt Janet, Thanks for stopping by...Glad to hear about the good news yesterday!! Thank the Lord!

Beth, Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am not a nurse, I am the secretary for the Neonatologist. It is a Level 2 Nursery so it is not as busy as some! I love my job! I have learned alot! Who knows...maybe when my boys are older I'll go back for a 3rd degree! Ha!

Vonnie, It's just fine about not having a pic of Daddy...I know how it is to entertain and the camera is often forgoten!! Thanks for letting come and stay awhile!

Looks like you all had a great 4th. Friends are so important to making a community feel like home--we've moved enough to know! Friends that are like family with your family--now that's a real bonus.
And having lived there (but not converted) there is definitely something about those Michigan fans--did I say die hard crazy?

Marty,
It was such fun to see your adorable family and beautiful home. You are still as cute as ever and it looks like your boys have inherited the good looks as well.

Life is so much more enjoyable when you are blessed with good, true friends and famly. I am happy to know that you have both! Take Care.

Much Love, Valerie

Marty,

Love your blog. Am excited to actually see your kids! I always hear about them from Susan, but pictures are so much better. Loved the picture of little Colton too. Tell Susan that she needs to get involved in this nationwide enterprise to reconnect old friends!

Wow - another family with 3 handsome boys! ..smiles...aren't boys just the greatest!

Your house and family are beautiful and looks like you guys had a great 4th!

Got to see Cheryl and Susan in Alabama, but no Martha! Just wasn't right! (Sorry, Crista - you're just too young to be in any of my childhood memories)

Happy Summer!

Marty, you rascal...why do you have to be the difficult one?! Just kidding. For some reason, all my emails I send to you keep getting returned to me. Can you send me your address again? We can't leave you behind!

To the comment about "Amy Kellogg", yes, that would be me. I am now Amy Lane and I have a husband who loves road trips. As such we got to stop through town and see Marty.
