IT'S A.....

.....GIRL!!!! Can you believe it? I feel like I'm lying every time I tell someone the baby is a girl. I have yet to wrap my head around it! Larry is the happiest daddy in the world today.

God is so good!! Larry was given a raise today...the first in 8 years!!! His company didn't even know we were expecting another child. The Lord and His timing.....!!!!

I'll try to think of more to say later when I'm not in a state of shock!

Love to all!
Marty

Awesome!! That's so neat. Won't she be so blessed to have three big brothers looking after her? ;o) 18 years from now, that could come in really handy...

Congrats Marty. Now as a girl with three big brothers here are some helpful phrases you will need to memorize and say daily once she is born.

"Boy, don't hit your sister, she's a lady!"

"_________(insert girls name) stop your screaming, screaming is for help" (I never figured out why being tied into a human pretzel wasn't a legitimate reason to scream for help, but whatever!)

"Boys, don't speak so rudely on the phone." (this is after they answer the phone and realize a boy wants to speak to their sister. They usually say something like, "why do want to talk to her? Don't ever call here again you twirp") And we wonder why I never dated.

Speaking of dating, my first date came to the door and I overheard one brother say, "If you touch her I will kill you." So you may want to lock your boys up on your little girl's first date.

"Boys, watch your sister, if anyone messes with her slug em!" (Ok, Mom never actually said this, but they got the idea somewhere, cause I can still see Steve Foss being knock off his bike by a punch in the nose because he locked me in a phone booth and teased me for wearing dresses.) :)

Anyway, I'm so happy for you. Tell, Sammy that he's going to have a little Jube Jube and see if he's still so excited. :)

Today there have been personal reminders of God's faithfulness and then reading your blog was an external reminder of his faithfulness. Congratulations! Give Larry a hug for me!

Oh, Marty, I am so excited for you! From having one girl, I know you will LOVE it!!

I'm still surprised that we are having another girl after four boys...it's beginnning to sink in as I get pink stuff ready, but I think I will have to see it to really believe it! Robb said the other day that since God decided to surprise us with this one, it was really nice for Him to break things up a bit!

Hope your feeling good now...praying that you can enjoy these days!

So happy for you all! Would love to see some pictures! :-) However, I won't be able to join you in this one. (Remember when we were both pregnant with our first, and we had a "prego" picture at Juwah's wedding?) Again, congratulations!!
